Photographer in Chicago | Mini Session Fundraiser for Kids Fight Cancer
Pediatric cancer is the leading cause of death by disease in children under the age of 15, every day children lose their battle with cancer. Funding for research and treatment of pediatric cancer has increased tremendously in the past few years, but there is always a need for more help. Before booking please note that outdoor mini sessions may be booked for maternity, baby, child, sibling, small family, senior and engagement portraits. Mini sessions may not be booked for families over five, multiple outfit changes, non-siblings, boudoir, or newborn/young infants. Babies under 6 months have more successful sessions in a more controlled environment where we have access to more prop and posing assistance. We usually recommend waiting until baby is able to sit on their own for outdoor sessions of any kind.
Our mini sessions are booked back to back so please ensure that you give yourself ample time for parking and arrive on time. If you arrive late for your session, unfortunately that time will be lost from your session. Mini Sessions may not be combined with any additional promotion or offer.
Chicago Birth Photographer | Photographing Your Birth Story
Throughout life, we go through many chapters and journeys. One of the most important and spectacular stories is the birth of your baby. This day is the most important day of your child’s life, and I would love to be there to capture your labor, delivery and first moments as new parents. Having photojournalistic keepsakes of this day will bring you and your child immeasurable joy for years to come. I have recently been inspired to expand my birth photography portfolio.
mommies with a due date on or before July 15th will receive 50% off their birth story coverage (regularly priced at $1200).

Engagement Photography in Chicago | The Second City Theatre
I had such an awesome time photographing this couple. They are super easy going and fun! We started the engagement session at Chicago’s infamous improv theatre The Second City. Jim and Eryn met there in 2007 while doing an improv class series – they met on the very first day and “have been making each other laugh ever since,” says Jim. We also spent a bit of time on Lake Michigan with their adorable puppy Egon… it was a little chilly but we still captured some fun shots!

These two are going to have an amazingly unique save-the-date and once it is sent out I will share it here too… I don’t want to spoil the surprise
Bucktown Family Photographer | I believe in fate. I believe in love.
I met this amazing family at a K. Grace event and honestly feel like they were meant to be clients. We had an instant connection and feel like old friends. There are times in life when you need a little inspiration and rejuvenation and it can be difficult to find - Hope and her family gave me this gift while photographing them. The love and joy within their family is why I love photography so much. I love being able to capture a family – the way they love, the way they laugh, just the way they live – and have them remember this precious time in their lives forever.

They truly inspired me to love more, give more, and appreciate every single day. Thank you for the inspiration!

Chicago Boudoir Photographer | Glamour and Grace Feature
I am so thrilled that this amazing boudoir photoshoot was featured on Glamour & Grace, a gorgeous wedding blog. Boudoir photography is growing and is an amazing way to celebrate your beauty and/or give as a gift to your love. We had a serious dream team of Chicago vendors collaborating on this Retro Romantic Boudoir Session.

The shoot took place at Mignonette Bridal, Chicago’s best bridal boutique in the Lakeview Neighborhood. Kpoene, the owner, is absolutely amazing and talented! The fabulous Agata from Beauty on Call did the hair and make-up for our two lovely ladies! The lovely vintage-inspired lingerie was created by Dottie’s Delights. We were able to use gorgeous hairpieces from Pishposhes and Violet Bells, stunning jewlery by Broad Street and Due Sorelle. The uniquely fantastic garters are from Previously Chicago. Lastly, this stunning bouquet was masterly created by Kelly from Fleur.

Maternity Photographer in Chicago | Sweet and Serene
I watched a short film the other day and this quote just stuck with me “Life is once. Forever.” (Henri Cartier-Bresson) Sometimes with everything going on in the world we forget to look around and appreciate what we have and where we live. It is so important to just take a deep breath and take it all in — appreciate yourself, your family, and your life. The past week, Chicago has been the most beautiful that it has been since moving here. It is 80 degrees and not humid. If every winter was this way I would stay forever, but it isn’t so…. that is another story for another day.
I absolutely loved photographing this couple’s maternity portrait session. I see a lot of couples and spend a few hours with them and I can tell this couple really appreciate each other and the life that they have created together. They were so sweet, excited and in love… Congratulations on your growing family, I can’t wait to see you in a couple months for the newborn session!
